Hamilton%20District_Bridge.jpgSenior program planner and facilitator for Beinecke Village district plan. This feasibility study addressed complete renovation and addition to the historic Emerson Literary Society building as well as improvement to the 1993 Beinecke Student Activities Village that was built 30% smaller than originally intended.

The plan also addressed engagement with the natural environs and connections along the brook to Root Glen, a 150-year-old 'magical' wooded garden of stone paths, foot-bridges, and the most diverse collection of trees in the Hamilton arboretum.

Hamilton%20Programming%20long%202JR5.jpgExtensive public planning forums were conducted on-site among students and faculty to address the assembly of bright yellow buildings known as Beinecke Village. These structures reflect a casual 'farm house' feel appropriate for the Adirondack Region, juxtaposed the more formal, historic Emerson Literary Society building. This district serve as a vital social, academic, and physical hub of campus and is the central cross-road via Martin's Way—the red-brick pedestrian link connecting north and south sides of campus.  Beinecke Village is a draw for all of campus with its mail room and post office, a retro-50's style Diner, Events Barn, lounges, seminar spaces, and classrooms.
