May%20Day.jpgTruth and vision is how great design begins. But whose truth and vision will design serve?

How best can the creative and capital-intensive process of building be seamlessly guided from your organization's perspective through to the completed project?

John Rossi Company thrives in a world of possibilities among leaders who make things happen—differently. Our expertise in visioning, strategic planning, and design management serves education, building, and commerce.

Our mission is to conceive and design holistic and sustainable architectural solutions to serve people, strengthen community, and inventively manage our world’s finite resources.

The company’s founder, brings 25-years experience directing complex creative projects. Since 1994, John Rossi has been integral among design teams responsible for master planning and architectural services of 48-million square feet of space with a construction value of $2.4 billion. $320 million has been, or is currently under construction. Phase Zero

We are "entrepreneurial" partners with you at your venture’s genesis. We empower leaders—company owners, presidents, investors, development officers, executive directors for capital projects and facilities—with client-centric guidance to imagine and create strategic plans for new ventures, renewal of place, and design for building projects. We are comfortable starting with unbound white space or adapting to parameters already in place. Either way, we embrace innovative explorations and can quickly help you develop the framework for the project or venture with conceptual plans that are true to your organization and its vision.

Visioning and community dialogue

Our engagement with you and your constituents is dynamic and ongoing—the cornerstone of Building Community by Design™. Our interactive, creative dialogue techniques include storytelling, writing, photos, collage, modeling, and drawings among stakeholders. A meaningful and artistic, enthusiastic shared vision emerges supported by clear project definition and goals—a genuine ‘co-authored’ planning process—for your city, campus, neighborhood, building, business, or product.

Architectural planning and design management

We love bringing fifteen-years of insights learned from the "architecture/planning firm" side of practice to your side of the table. We turn vision and project goals into the plan of action for realization. We establish the project approach, program the space, work out timeline, conduct due-diligence, and develop cost estimates. Before you secure any design or building consultants, John Rossi Company recommends appropriate project team composition and develop the RFQ (Request for Qualifications)/RFP (Request for Proposals) process. We help establish reporting protocol and select the project team. We are a close interface among stakeholders and liaison to the project team ensuring the defined goals and vision are met and sustainable building practices are upheld.

Communication strategy and tools

Outreach and feedback is integral to our iterative, participatory planning process. Our unique experience in marketing and communications as well as in architectural planning is invaluable to capital campaign planning, community relations, and strategic messaging. Conveying a project’s vision, intent, and benefits among shareholders, trustees, students, donors, investors, and regulatory agencies can ensure buy-in and support that is essential for every project’s hope for success. As spokesperson for your project, or as your communications coach, we develop on-point message for public forums, special events, digital media, television, radio, print, direct mail, and publicity campaigns.
